Zen Concept homes introduced in Gurgaon

Lumbini Terrace Homes by the Brisk Group has introduced a new concept of houses based on the Zen philosophy that promote long open balconies and intelligent architecture as part of the project. The project has been launched in Sector 109 in Gurgaon on a 10.8 acre land, adjacent to the upcoming Dwarka Expressway. Some unique qualities that this project scores on are spaciousness, design, green features, and availability of all social amenities.

The project aims at creating a tranquil and healthy lifestyle in the form of tree plazas, jogging tracks, safe pedestrian walkways, a recreational hub, 76% open space of extensive greening and reduced energy consumption. Presently, Zen-inspired home designs are common in countries like Japan, China, and Philippines, among others.

According to Suditya Sinha, Vice President – Projects, BIDPL, “From the time of excavation, reduction in site disturbance was implemented to check soil erosion. The soil conditioning and moisturising, along with reduction of heat islands and grid paving will deliver a refreshing landscape. On the civil and electrical side, the project will have energy efficient building materials, window panes and fittings. The added green pockets, usage of CFL, LEDs and solar panels is aimed at reducing the overall power consumption.” The company has achieved their target of selling Phase 1 at a launch price of Rs 3500 per sq ft.

Ahluwalia Contracts Ltd. are the contractors for the construction of Lumbini Terrace Homes. BIDPL has substantial land holdings in Sectors 109, 110 and 112, Gurgaon, adjoining Dwarka Expressway. The sample flat of the second phase is ready for prospective buyers to see. Teh project would be delivered in the first quarter of 2014.

Abhimanyu Chakraborty, Vice President – Sales, BIDPL said that the most appealing factors for customers is the unique terrace garden, spacious wardrobe and concept kitchen. He added that another reason for Phase I to have been sold this soon is the proximity to IGI Airport.
